SMI’s Purpose

The purpose of SMI is to get ministry directed students involved in ministry and get them compensated for that ministry so they can take full advantage of a professional apprenticeship. The goal is to maximize their ministry preparation now – with both personal and professional development – to increase their effectiveness for future ministry.

SMI student ministers are compensated at significant levels to honor the professional nature of their ministry apprenticeships. Like other jobs, these students can utilize their compensation to pay whatever bills they deem necessary. The end result of this compensation for ministry hours performed is balance in streamlining time and increased focus on that which is relevant to their future calling and passions.

SMI is invaluable in growing the Kingdom & in enabling the ministries of seminary students. Churches & godly organizations, as well as seminary students, are the recipients of God’s many blessings through SMI’s role in involving students in ministry projects.
