SMI’s Financial Accountability

SMI is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). The ECFA came into existence from the initiative of a group of Christians in the wake of the Jim and Tammy Baker scandal. In efforts to offer financial accountability and ensure legitimate financial practices and reporting to donors of ministry organizations, the ECFA was birthed in 1979. The seal of ECFA membership is a symbol of trust and accountability to standards exceeding that of the IRS.

SMI is invaluable in growing the Kingdom & in enabling the ministries of seminary students. Churches & godly organizations, as well as seminary students, are the recipients of God’s many blessings through SMI’s role in involving students in ministry projects.
